Organising regular events for all members of the firm is pretty much synonymous with the Liedekerke approach 'we work hard but play hard as well'. A number of events such as the Liedekerke Summer Event, the Liedekerke After Summer Event, the Liedekerke Revue, our regular afterwork drinks throughout the year, ‘brain maniac’ breakfasts in the firm, etc… are recurring events that allow us to connect with each other more outside the professional working environment which obviously has a positive impact to the cooperation in the office as well. Soak up the cool atmosphere that is strong at these events by watching some after-event movies.

Join us as a junior lawyer

We are looking for applicants who:
  • have an excellent academic track record
  • have a real talent for legal analysis
  • speak French or Dutch in addition to English; command of other languages is a plus
  • are prepared to commit to handling complex cases in which the stakes are high and often international
  • are attracted by an independent law firm that follows its own strategy and endorses the profession’s ethics and standards

and as a special plus:

  • have a pleasing personality, friendly and are full of energy
  • approach projects with enthusiasm knowing they will get as much out of work as they put in
  • have a team spirit and an eagerness to play a part in our achievements
  • and last but not least, take their work seriously but not themselves
Upon selection we will invite you to a preliminary interview with a member of our HR department. This will take about an hour and is an excellent opportunity to get to know each other and ask questions. In a second interview you will meet the partners and the associates with whom you would work. During the interview process we often try to organise an informal meeting with some associates so that you have the opportunity to ask questions in a more relaxed environment.
