
Jonathan Renaux
Associate
Jonathan is part of the Regulatory Practice Group.
He specialises in general constitutional law & administrative law, with a focus on public litigation. He has worked on numerous proceedings before the Constitutional Court, the Council of State and civil courts, as well as before the European Court of Human rights. He works both for public and private entities.
Jonathan also works on regulatory aspects relating to investment projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo and has worked on international arbitration cases relating to the Congolese mining sector.
Jonathan has also assisted clients on international investment law issues and foreign investments structuring.
After his studies in Belgium, Jonathan obtained a LL.M. in Public International Law at the University of Cambridge in 2020, receiving a First-Class degree.
He has been a research & teaching assistant in Constitutional Law at Université Saint-Louis since 2021 and is a member of the Centre Interdisciplinaire de recherches en droit constitutionnel et administratif (CIRC). Notably, he was heard in 2022 among a panel of experts by a parliamentary commission of the Belgian House of Representatives and Senate on the future of Belgian Federalism.
Jonathan joined Liedekerke in 2020.
