We offer our clients unparalleled experience and support from our offices in Brussels, Kigali (Rwanda) and Kinshasa (DRC), allowing our clients not only to seize opportunities but also to navigate and overcome the challenges of the African market.
Liedekerke Great Lakes offers assistance from experienced Rwandan lawyers in Kigali, backed up by a vast pool of skills across our international practices. The team has a vast experience such as: corporate & M&A, banking and finance, regulatory, mining, aviation and many more. Our Kigali team consists of 5 lawyers and 2 support staff.
We are currently looking for a Senior Associate to join our Kigali office.

What we expect
Our new colleague:
- has 7 years of experience in corporate law in a Rwandan law firm. Experience in banking and finance law is a plus.
- is registered with the Rwanda Bar Association.
- Has an outstanding level of English and Kinyarwanda, both written and spoken.
- Has knowledge of the Rwandan market from political, economic, and legal perspectives.
In addition to these qualities, we are seeking someone proficient in transparent, assertive, and professional communication, adept at engaging with both clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate should be prepared to excel in an international setting, showcasing exceptional organisational and analytical skills to meet deadlines. With a hands-on mentality and a proactive approach, they demonstrate a readiness to take initiative and drive projects forward. Moreover, their client-centric focus, eagerness to learn coupled with a practical and commercial mindset, ensures effectiveness in addressing diverse needs.
