Wim Dedecker is a Partner in our Brussels’ Corporate & Finance Group.
Wim handles a wide variety of securities and corporate transactions. He counsels issuers and underwriters in connection with public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities. He also represents both large and mid-size companies in mergers and acquisitions (including private equity and venture capital transactions) and regularly advises on general corporate and securities laws matters.
Wim holds a law degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Antwerp (2009) and a master of laws (LL.M) from the University of California Berkeley (2011) where he was a Fulbright grantee. He also studied at the Université Paris Descartes (2009).
Prior to joining Liedekerke in 2018, Wim worked at the Brussels and New York offices of a leading US law firm and at the Brussels office of a magic circle firm. In 2012 he was seconded to the legal department of BNP Paribas and he was also a part-time teaching assisting at the KU Leuven (2012 to 2014).
Wim is also one of the coordinators of the Liedekerke Start-up Team and he regularly speaks on corporate and securities law matters.
