Pierre Desenfans specialises in Belgian and international tax law and has developed throughout his career as recognised expertise in real estate taxation (real estate transactions, structuring of real estate projects, real estate investment funds taxation,...). His practice covers income tax, VAT and registration fees. He advises companies in the day-to-day monitoring of their tax affairs - whether they are listed companies, SMEs or family businesses - and assists them both in contentious and non-contentious matters.
With over 15 years of experience in real estate taxation, Pierre has a profound knowledge of the real estate sector, the needs of our clients and all financial and operational aspects of the sector.
Pierre is a regular speaker at conferences and is the author of numerous publications about tax law. He is also a lecturer for the UCL Certificate in Real Estate Taxation and he is in charge of lectures on direct corporate tax relating to real estate transactions and on real investment trusts/real estate investment funds
He holds a law degree from the University of Louvain (UCL 2005) as well as a degree in tax law from the University of Brussels (ULB 2006).
Pierre started his career at Liedekerke in 2006, and left after 14 years to launch Arteo early 2020. Pierre reintegrated Liedekerke’s team as a partner in November 2020.
