Benjamin is part of the Regulatory and Real Estate Practice.
Within the regulatory department, Benjamin specialises in environmental law. His professional focus spans advising public authorities on planning and zoning policies, assisting private entities – particularly real estate developers – in navigating permitting disputes, and aiding multinational corporations in addressing environmental compliance challenges. Beyond his specialisation in environmental law, Benjamin maintains a wide-ranging interest and proficiency in various facets of public and administrative law.
Benjamin holds a master's degree in law from the KU Leuven, which he achieved with great distinction. In addition, he also earned a master's degree in History from the same university. During his academic journey, he enriched his legal perspective with a year of specialisation at Trinity College Dublin, delving into international and European aspects of public and environmental law. Engaged in academic and practical pursuits, Benjamin was an active member of the Leuven Center for Collaborative Management Student Association (LCMSA), an interdisciplinary student association dedicated to alternative dispute resolution, negotiation, and mediation.
Prior to joining Liedekerke, he gained valuable experience through internships in both the private and public sectors.
Benjamin joined Liedekerke in 2023.
