Pauline Van Muylder is part of our IP / IT / Data Protection practice.
Pauline advises clients and represents them in contentious matters in the fields of intellectual property law (with a particular focus on copyright and neighbouring rights) and data protection law. She also intervenes in consumer law and unfair market practices matters and has a keen interest in commercial distribution litigation.
Pauline is frequently assisting clients in the Mobility, Automotive and Media & Telecommunications sectors. She has represented clients at all judicial levels and before the Belgian Constitutional Court, as well as in the framework of a preliminary ruling before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Pauline holds a Master of Laws from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB, 2020, magna cum laude), where she has been awarded the 2019-2020 “Master’s Thesis in Economic Law Prize” as well as the 2019-2020 “Pierre de Harven Prize”, in recognition of the highest qualities she has shown during her studies in the field of private law. Pauline also holds a LL.M in EU Competition and Intellectual Property Law from the Université de Liège (2021, summa cum laude).
Pauline is a member of the Brussels Bar since 2021 and joined Liedekerke the same year. In January 2023, the Brussels Bar awarded her the 2022 “Bâtonniers Braun et Jakhian Prize”.
