
Vincent Verbelen
Associate
Vincent Verbelen is part of the Real Estate and Regulatory Practice Group.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (2017) and a Master of Laws (2019) from the University of Antwerp, both obtained with great distinction. During his time at the University of Antwerp, he participated in the Belgian Moot Court of Constitutional Law; his team was awarded the first prize. He was also a student-researcher for the Research Group Government and Law.
Vincent obtained an LL.M degree First Class from the University of Cambridge (2022). For his examination performance, he was awarded the Rapaport Prize in Law and the Honorary Title of Scholar of Christ’s College. He worked on a Cambridge Pro Bono Research Project for which he was granted a Cambridge Pro Bono Golden Award.
He worked for the University of Antwerp as research and teaching assistant (2019-2021). The students of the Bachelor of Laws presented him with “Het Gobelijntje” – the award for best assistant of the academic year 2021-2022.
Vincent has published articles on constitutional law, administrative law, and human rights law.
Vincent joined Liedekerke in 2022.
