It is set to finance Cohab’s growth, with the ambition of becoming a global reference in the market and by reaching 5,000 rooms in 11 cities by 2026. New investors include Ivanhoé Cambridge, Belfius Insurance, Belgian Sovereign Fund (SFPIM - Real Estate). All the founders and most historical shareholders (including AG Real Estate and Alphastone) remain on board.
The Liedekerke core deal team included Charlotte Ferron (Associate), Céline Tallier (Counsel), and Jacques Meunier (Partner). Natixis Partners and Tandem Capital Advisors acted as financial advisors of Cohabs.
Youri Dauber (CEO of Cohabs) stated : « The Liedekerke’ team has been doing phenomenal work for us since our first fundraising in 2019. Together with Jacques Meunier and Céline Tallier, we’ve been able to raise more than €200 million over the past 3 years. This last transaction implicated many people and contracts. The way they’ve navigated between parties and supported us throughout the negotiations has been outstanding. We’re looking forward for the next big transaction alongside this dream team.»
