Brussels, Belgium – February 26, 2024 - Independent leading law firm Liedekerke is pleased to announce the appointment of Laurent Pyls as Partner, effective 26 February 2024, further strengthening its Real Estate practice.
Laurent is a real estate lawyer esteemed by clients for his dynamism, pragmatism and commercial acumen. He (re)joins Liedekerke from Linklaters, having previously been a valued member of the Liedekerke Real Estate team from 2014 to 2020.
His wide ranging expertise covers all aspects of commercial real estate, garnered from advising a diverse range of clients, including (local and international) investors, developers, owners, landlords and tenants. Laurent’s experience encompasses (asset and corporate/M&A) real estate transactions, real estate project structuring, construction law, sale-and-leaseback operations, lease agreements of all types, ESG in real estate, and real estate litigation.
The arrival of Laurent is aimed at bolstering the firm’s presence in the Flemish market and reaffirming the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional legal services across the Belgian real estate sector. Additionally, Laurent will contribute to the further development of Liedekerke’s African practices, leveraging the firm’s presence in Kinshasa and Kigali.
