Lola Malluquin
Senior Associate
Lola Malluquin is a Senior Associate in our Regulatory Practice.
Since the start of her career at Liedekerke in 2018, she has been working on numerous complex matters in the field of public economic law, focusing most particularly on public procurement law, energy law and constitutional and general administrative. She intervenes in both contentious (litigation before all Belgian courts and the European Court of Justice) and non-contentious matters (advisory or transactional), for public authorities as well as private companies.
In recent years, Lola gradually focused on government contracts (public procurement, public-private partnerships, concessions, etc.), gaining an in-depth expertise on the subject – which she still combines in her everyday practice with a strong background in administrative law and energy law.
Lola also enjoys helping clients develop infrastructure projects in Africa (especially in the DRC), advising on all the regulatory aspects of those projects (energy law, mining law, public procurement issues,...) and assisting in the negotiation of the public contracts.
Lola received her law degree summa cum laude from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2017 – together with the Pierre de Harven Prize for the best student in private law. She also holds a LL.M. from the University of Cambridge, where she received a First-Class degree in 2018.
She has been a teaching assistant in administrative law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles since 2019.
