Organising regular events for all members of the firm is pretty much synonymous with the Liedekerke approach 'we work hard but play hard as well'. A number of events such as the Liedekerke Summer Event, the Liedekerke After Summer Event, the Liedekerke Revue, our regular afterwork drinks throughout the year, ‘brain maniac’ breakfasts in the firm, etc… are recurring events that allow us to connect with each other more outside the professional working environment which obviously has a positive impact to the cooperation in the office as well. Soak up the cool atmosphere that is strong at these events by watching some after-event movies.

Liedekerke Great Lakes is pleased to announce the arrival of Chloé Stassart as Head of Operations of our Kigali office. In her new role, Chloé will be supporting the continuing development of our activities in the Great Lakes region.

For six years , Chloé has been a part of our Labour and Employment Practice Group in Brussels. In parallel with her Belgian labour law practice, she has specialised in Congolese and Rwandan Labour law as well as corporate performance and team management. We are happy to report she will employ all those skills in Rwanda.

Liedekerke Great Lakes is our second local office in Africa, opened in 2019, following the success of our first local office in Kinshasa (DRC), opened in 2015. Focusing on providing legal advice in the Great Lakes region, our Rwandan office is based in Kigali, but also covers Burundi. Our attorneys represent African companies in a wide variety of legal matters, as well as international clients in and/or with interests in Africa.

In Kigali, Chloé joins our skilled and experienced attorneys working for Liedekerke Great Lakes: Penina Ngabire , Olivia Hottat and
Isaac Rwapasika.
